Open Sky School celebrated Baisakhi on 11th April with great enthusiasm. The event began with a skit depicting the formation of Khalsa by Guru Gobind Singh Ji, highlighting its historical and spiritual importance. Students also showcased how Baisakhi is celebrated across India as Pohela Boishakh in West Bengal, Rongali Bihu in Assam, and Vishu in Kerala — marking regional New Years with joy and devotion.
A lively tableau of a Punjab village was presented, featuring traditional attire, farming scenes, and everyday village life. This was followed by colorful Bhangra and Giddha performances, spreading festive cheer.
Our Chairperson addressed the assembly, praising the students' efforts, speaking about our rich culture, and appreciating the hard work of farmers who nourish the nation.
The celebration was a vibrant tribute to India’s cultural diversity and agricultural roots, leaving a lasting impression on all.
