Poshan Pakhwada

As part of the Government of India’s Poshan Pakhwada initiative, our school organized activities to promote nutrition and traditional Indian foods. Nutritional awareness sessions educated students on balanced diets and the richness of Indian cuisine. A quiz competition tested knowledge on healthy eating and indigenous foods. Students were encouraged to bring nutritious tiffins, while parents were guided on the importance of wholesome meals. To promote hands-on learning, Classes 6 and 7 prepared millet-based snacks and cookies, highlighting millets' value. The celebration encouraged healthy habits, mindful eating, and informed food choices among students and families.
