Open Sky celebrated 73rd Independence Day of India on 14th August 2019. It was heartening to see the children apply themselves with as much zeal and zest to the Independence Day celebrated as in other festivals. Their efforts in decorating their school and participation in dances , skits, song revealed their enthusiasm. The guest of honour  Dr. Sonu Sharma , Chairperson Open Sky graces the occasion with her presence and blessed the kids with her words. In her words she exhorted the students to follow ideals of great people like Mahatma Gandhi, Nehru and others. The day had dual importance as this year Independence day celebrations were turned up with Raksha Bandhan. Students at Open sky celebrated it as well. Beautiful Rakhi were made by the students and sent to soldiers who actually keep their promise with their “Raksha Kwatch”.
