Republic Day was celebrated on 26th January at our school with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The celebration was organised around the themes “Atmanirbhar Bharat” and the completion of 150 years of Vande Mataram, paying tribute to the nation’s journey towards self-reliance and national pride. The programme commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by the Chief guest Dr Sonu Sharma, Chairperson Open Sky, followed by the National Anthem, creating an atmosphere of unity and respect for the nation. Students participated in patriotic songs, dances and patriotic talks etc. highlighting the values of the Indian Constitution and the importance of building a self-reliant India. The celebration was followed by an exhibition showcasing the rich diversity of India, where students displayed models, charts, artworks, and information representing different states, cultures, traditions, and achievements of the country. The exhibition beautifully reflected India’s unity in diversity and the spirit of national integration. The Republic Day celebration helped instil feelings of patriotism, responsibility, and pride among students and inspired them to contribute positively towards the progress and development of the nation.
