“Hindi hamari shaan hai; Desh ka Abhimaan Hai”
Language and culture of any country plays an important role in making people connect with the other people and helps in making a strong nation. Hindi is a language of love, togetherness and brotherhood. Hindi was adopted as the official language of our nation, India on September 14, 1949. To appreciate and to mark the importance of country’s most widely spoken language, Open Sky, Sector 5, Gurugram celebrated Hindi Diwas with great pride and vigor.
The programme was organised by the Hindi department and presented by a very talented group of young performers and presenters from Classes V to IX. The celebration commenced a dance performance, nukkad natak, doha recitation, poem saluting the richness of our national language. They enthralled their teachers and friends. It was a pleasure to watch students perform so confidently. Students could also be seen engaged in slogan writing and poster making. The school head, Mrs. Bharti Arora underscored its significance in connecting us to our roots.
