"The best way to find your self is to lose yourself in the service of others”  -Mahatma Gandhi Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated at Open Sky, Sector 5 on 30th September, 2022 to commemorate the 153rd birthday of ‘Bapu’. The school remembered this greatest motivator and independence campaigner of his times through a special assembly. The children of classes VII - IX raised slogans spreading Bapu’s messages of non-violence, truth and patriotism. They shared their thoughts and feelings about this great legendary leader. Students also briefed about the life history, values of Gandhiji, independence movements started by him which led India to freedom through their captivating performances. His “Mission of Cleanliness” was also explained through a nukkad natak motivating everyone to keep the environment clean. The celebration ended with a thought in everybody’s mind that cleanliness is next to Godliness and service to mankind is the first step towards reaching it.
