To commemorate the 7th International Yoga Day on 21.06.21, the Management, staff, students and the parent community of Open Sky, Sector 5 connected online through Zoom.The event started with the blessings of our honorable President, Mrs. Asha Sharma. In her virtual message to the students, she motivated the students and parents to practice yoga regularly to promote their agility, mindfulness and improve concentration.

In an invigorating session of different Asanas, the staff was joined by the students and parents on the e-platform, sharing/spreading the harmony of yoga. The students of Classes V – IX also participated in an online Yoga Quiz and e- certificates were awarded to the winners.

The school organised a digital Funday celebration spread over two days for a more one-on-one experience. A plethora of activities was live-streamed by teachers for students before they bid goodbye for the summer vacations.

The teachers regaled students with different activities. They sang songs, played games, asked riddles, tried tongue twisters. It was a vibrant experience both for the students and the teachers. The joyous moments were captured on video and shared in the class groups.

The year 2021 marks the 51st anniversary of  Earth Day celebration the theme ‘Restore Our Earth’ motivated Open Sky students to engage in environmentally-conscious practices.

 The students were sensitized towards environment protection and conservation. Grade wise online activities were planned like drawing & colouring, planting saplings, keeping bird feeders and elocution on paving the way for a cleaner and greener environment.

A short video was shot showcasing these myriad of activities, the students understood their responsibility towards nurturing the environment.
