Christmas Celebration

Christmas is the festival which inspires the spirit of sharing and caring. In Open Sky, Christmas celebration was held on 22nd December 2023, in the school amphitheatre. The school was beautifully decorated and everybody was dressed in red, green and white. The programme started with an information about Christmas and why is it celebrated. A beautiful skit followed depicting the scenes of the nativity of Jesus Christ interspersed with melodious carols and dances by the students of classes IV & V. The event ended with cheerful Christmas greetings as the students of classes Nursery – II walked on the ramp to the melodious tunes of “Jingle Bells” and “We wish you a merry Christmas” in colourful and innovative costumes. The dazzling entry of Santa Claus added to the joy and excitement of the students. The boundless joy of celebrating the festival was visible on the faces of all the children. It was a joyous and amusing programme for everyone. The Chief Guest, Dr Sonu Sharma, Chairperson Open Sky graced the occasion and blessed the students

After the special assembly, it was a day full of fun activities, dance, yummy food and all the students from Nursery to IX had Fun Day as everyone needs a little unstructured fun. It gives everybody the chance to unwind, relax and get a little silly, released from the confines of orderly school and work routine to remember what life is supposed to be all about.
