At Open Sky, learning is not confined to classrooms and books. It goes beyond the four walls and finds place even in the celebration of festivals. Therefore, Basant Panchami, the festival dedicated to Goddess Saraswati was celebrated on 14.02.24. The festival also marks the onset of the spring season.
The school organised a Saraswati Pooja in the school premises for the children. A special assembly was also conducted by the students of Pre- primary and primary classes and they presented Saraswati Vandana, skit and dance to celebrate this occasion. The tiny tots of Grades Pre-Nursery - III came attired in vibrant hues of yellow. They had also brought yellow eatables in their tiffins. Sweetened rice was prepared in school as the special Basant Panchami prasad and distributed to all the students and staff members. Dr. Sonu Sharma, Chairperson Open Sky attended the Pooja and also blessed the students through her words after the special assembly.
